There are around 70 gardens and parks in Hanoi which are located mainly in some districts including Cau Giay, Hai Ba Trung, Dong Da. Thu Le Park
Established in 1977 with the acreage of around 20ha, Thu Le Park is located in the corner of Cau Giay and Kim Ma Streets. This park is the presenting and nurturing place of nearly 600 animals belonging to 95 species. It can be said that, Thu Le is in association with childhood memories of many people in Hanoi. Van Duong (a student at Tourism College) said that “when I was small, I always begged my parents to take me there at weekends. I love the animal as they are diverse. At present, although I’m busy studying, I try to spend time coming here. It recalls my happy childhood with my parents”.
In Thu Le Park, there are a number of games for children including Carousel, train ride, duck boat, statue painting, animal breeding, ball house and so on. The park receives thousands visitors every week, especially on Sunday.

Thong Nhat Park
Serving as one of the largest parks in Hanoi with Bay Mau Lake at the centre, Thong Nhat Park is considered a place for study, entertainment and other extra curricular activities. This park contains a lot of spectacular constructions which have been built, contributing to the scenery to be more exciting.
Visiting here, we accidently met with a group of students from many different universities joining a game together, which make the park much busier.
